Yoleidy Rosario-Hernandez

Yoleidy Rosario-Hernandez is an Afro-Dominican & Tainx trans educator and artist. Ze holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theater from Dickinson College and a Masters of Arts in Higher Education with a concentration in Student Affairs and Multicultural Education from Messiah College. Throughout zir career, which includes leadership positions such as inaugural Associate Dean of Students and Director of the Center for Diversity and Inclusion at Ringling College of Art and Design, Director of the Women's and Gender Resource Center and Survivor Advocacy at University of Arizona, and Director of the LGBTQ and Intercultural Resource Center at Rutgers University Newark, ze has created, implemented and facilitated intercultural and intersectional programs, trainings and workshops that address important social justice issues through the interdisciplinary investigation of indigenous. 


Andrea Cecilia Civetta


Major: Computer Animation

Andrea is a Computer Animation sophomore from San Fransisco, California. Although she was born in Miami and lived most of her life in the Bay Area, she loves connecting with her Colombian culture. In her free time, she loves to read and bake, especially with friends. As a CDI Outreach Coordinator, Andrea is eager to create safe and welcoming spaces and also participate in engaging conversations

Al grew up in Pasco County, Florida, where for years they dedicated their free time to running several LGBTQ organizations and events. They are a member of the Pasco County LGBTA Democratic Caucus and identify as a non-binary lesbian. They love collecting rocks, and have a pet betta fish named Cecil. Their Instagram is @mintharpy.


Daphne Reynolds


Major: Visual Studies

Daphne is a 3D artist originally from North Carolina. They are currently completing their senior year in Visual Studies at Ringling College, where they focus on depicting the depth & beauty of queer BIPOC love. As a black, genderfluid, lesbian, they are drawn to enacting change on campus by creating comforting, supportive spaces for marginalized people and spreading awareness of DEI initiatives. In their free time, they enjoy watching films, reading, trivia nights, and being in nature.

Major: Visual Studies

Nosipho is a writer and visual artist from Johannesburg, South Africa. Currently in their sophomore year in Visual Studies, their primary focus to use art to explore intersectional identities. Their diverse upbringing and deep interest in community building motioned them towards working at CDI. They love to cook, read and watch films in their spare time.

Major: Computer Animation

Lin is a Junior in Computer Animation with Business Art and Design as her minor. She will spread her voice through CDI for people who need help and support. She wants her art and her voice can be one of the lights to someone in the darkness. Her art is not only a way to express herself, but also an artist's weapon to find out the injustice in society to help people who need help as much as she can.




Major: Fine Arts

Rose is a First Generation College Student and First Generation American studying her love for Fine Arts while minoring in Business and Art History. Rose is passionate about helping others build a support system; through opportunities like volunteering, working as a Resident Assistant, or promoting on-campus resources through the CDI.


Xiaoqiu Nie


Major: Illustration

Xiaoqiu is a sophomore in Illustration with two minors in Art History and BOAD. She came from and grew up in Central China. She is glad to help students be brave and be their friendly listener at CDI. In her free time, she loves to read books, watch movies, and make coffee


Toprak Bekiroglu


Major: Computer Animation

Toprak is a trans-man born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. Currently a sophomore in Computer Animation. He aims to use his time at CDI in creating an inviting space and spreading information about diversity, inclusion and awareness. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with animals and sketching for new ideas.
